Can Bingo Be Fixed 4,7/5 5171 votes

Other than the RTP there is nothing that is fixed on online bingo. Also, the game uses the RNG which selects the winning numbers randomly. This is only applicable to sites that are safe and regulated. When will it be fixed? Doesn't work more than it does. Microsoft Bingo When will it be fixed? Doesn't work more than it does. What do you think? Do you think that online Bingo is fixed?

I am sure most of you have heard of the game, Bingo. Our parents and grandparents have been playing this game for years. As a matter of fact, Bingo is one of the games that has been around and loved by many for so many years. A quick Google search says that the history of the game of Bingo dates it back to the mid 1500’s. That’s a long time! As more people tried the game, it grew more and more popular, so much so that it has become one of the most popular games of all times.

One of the thrills of playing Bingo is winning the prizes. With online Bingo people can win cash prizes, and this makes it much more exciting! Now, you aren’t just passing the time playing a game, but you are also taking a chance of winning some amazing cash prizes!

Even with all of the fun and excitement, there have been times when people have questioned if the online games were actually fair. They have wondered if maybe they were rigged since they would often see some of the regular players repeatedly winning.

Why Does It Seem Like Online Bingo Is Fixed?

It’s really tough to determine exactly why the same people keep winning the game, however one could say that practice makes perfect, or you could calculate the odds and come up with better reasoning. Some would say that the same people keep winning because they invest more money. Instead of purchasing one Bingo card, you purchase multiple, to increase your chance of winning. If you think about it, a player that buys the maximum number of cards allowed in one single game is more likely to win the game than a player that simply purchases one card. The probability of winning off of one card is much lower.

What Can I Do To Increase My Chance of Winning Online Bingo?

So, you love playing the game, but aren’t sure if there are ways that you can increase your chances of winning, making the game more fun to play, correct? If you have played on many different sites, you will know that some sites will allow you the chance to choose your own Bingo cards that you play with. Some people believe that by choosing your own cards your odds of winning are greater.

While choosing your own card might sound like a great way to increase your odds of winning online Bingo games, you also might consider some of the following methods:

  • Play during times when there are less players. If there are not as many players to compete against, your odds of winning increases. Less competition, equals higher odds of winning. I mean, a 1 in 10 chance of winning sounds much easier than a 1 in 1,000, doesn’t it?
  • Consider playing with more than one card. By playing with several cards you are increasing your chances of winning. If there are 100 cards sold and you have 1 then your odds are 1 in 100 of winning, however if you purchased 10 cards then your odds would be 10 in 100, which sounds like much better odds.
  • Chat room- Sometimes there are special prizes that can be won in the chat room. If you join in on the conversation in the chat room while you are playing, you might just win something in the chat room as well!

Keep in mind that playing online Bingo is really for entertainment purposes. It is meant to be a fun way for people to connect, relax and have a little friendly competition. While winning prizes is great, don’t get frustrated if you don’t win.

Alright I have a question, does anybody know what the odds would be for getting multiple bingo's in a single session. The reason I ask is, I play bingo at a Native American casino in Minnesota and there is a Mother and son that play a lot and on any given session they will get from 3 to 13 bingo's. This is a fact, on one weekend about a month ago, I witnessed them getting 13 bingo's on Friday 16 Bingo's on Saturday and another 7 bingo's on Sunday, that's right 36 bingo's this was on playing about 120 games total over the 3 days. This isn't a rare occasion I've also seen her and the son win multiple games every time I've been there. This is also occurring with the bingo house full, by full, there is over 400 players playing. Now granted they do play on a computer and at this bingo house you can play up to 15 packages max 1 computer, so between the two of them they are playing 30 cards but based on the other 398 players if they are playing only 1.5 packages per player they are competing against 597 cards in play. If someone can enlighten me on how they can get multiple bingo's again and again please do.

I am unclear on the numbers that you give but it does seem high and therefore I would suspect that the Bingo Room is not actually paying out those prizes at all but is merely collecting the money. Usually such things happen only in the charity bingo games. I have no idea why the tribe would jeopardize an event that has over 400 players.
Could you restate your data and be consistent about cards, packages, etc. I am confused.

Okay there is a mother and son that plays bingo at this casino in Minnesota, at every session they play they get anywhere from 3 to 13 bingo's these are numbers that I can confirm when I'm there myself, I play on an average of 5 times a month, and other people that know them confirm my stats they see it as well. About a month ago this couple over a 3 day weekend they got 36 bingo's there was approximately 120 games played over this 3 day period. What I was referring to with the amount of players was on a average night at this casino they will have 400 or more players playing. Most recently as of last Friday night this couple got another 7 bingo's out of 26 games played, they won about about $3,700 in prize money Friday night alone. What I was trying to convey is that this casino will allow you to play up to 15 packages in your computer max 1 computer per person and they admit they fill the machine, but if you do the math these two are getting an unusual amount of bingo's compared to the total amount of packages in play. They have 30 packages combined but if you figure the other 398 players played an average of only 2 packages and this is a conservative amount per player that would mean they are competing against a minimum of 796 packages in play, based on simple math if there are 826 packages in play 796+30=826 dividing there 30 packages by 826 = 3.6% of packages in play but they consistently will get a no least than 3 bingo's up to 13 bingo's per each session. which equates to a % won of 11 to 50 % of the games and this can add up to $1000s and $1,000s of dollars won. So I guess this is mathematically possible but I would like to know what the odds of doing what they do on a regular basis. Or do you think that some how this game could be fixed?

Interesting idea. The mother and son work for the casino and never actually collect their winnings. They are given winning cards in advance so that the casino can ensure a certain amount of profit from the game. Pretty shady behavior, if you're right.
EDIT: After thinking about it a little, this situation would also require the entire drawing be gaffed, so that winning cards could be known in advance. I'm not sure that a casino would go this far. Unless, of course, their cards aren't actually winners, but they behave as though they are and the casino goes along with it.

Where I have played, there are 12 cards on each package. Each computer was loaded with 92 cards (almost 8 packages or 12 packs as we like to call them). You could even play up to 3 paper 12 packs with the computer(although most just played 2).Now that would be a total of 116 cards played by each player in the hall woudnt it (with 2 paper 12 packs being played) ?.

Yeah, people show up to 'verify' the bingo, but who verifies the verifier's work?
What do they do: have a hot air corn-popper or something that blows the ping pong balls up into a tube? Then a hand picks up the ball and a palmed label goes on it? I just can't see WHY a 400 seat Bingo Hall would do this.
Maybe someone can chime in here on the odds of it happening? Maybe its not all that rare?

Thanks for every ones input yes you do get a six face (six bingo cards) per each package played but the percentage would be the same for there cards played versus all the other players playing, but my question is if the casinos not in on it could it be possible to hack the computer that there using and somehow change a number needed just prior to it being called. I don't believe the computer program is property of the casino I believe it belongs to Planet Bingo they are tied into a central computer system because during certain games you play for prizes that are on a national basis and to come to think of it I have been coming to this casino for over 20 years and don't remember these two winning as often as they do until after the Planet Bingo system was implemented about 3 or 4 months ago. I honestly don't think the casinos is in on it maybe a caller or floor person, it would be to much of risk for the casino they would lose millions & millions of dollars if this was to happen and they were in on it, but I do believe these two are cheating that's why I would like to see if there's a mathematical equation to figure out what the odds of them doing this legit. Once again if you witnessed time after time bingo after bingo these two get you would feel the same frustration that I and a lot of other players experience each time these two show up.

It could still be done with legitimate checking of the cards. All they have to do is put aside that 'special' card for when those two show up and then just sell them a packet from the bottom of a special stack or something. Most people prefer either Paper or Computer. How many others do BOTH?

If they are crooked, it would not be the first rigged bingo game. See this article on a scandal at California's Barona back in the mid 80's.

Are they hitting their bingos with very few numbers called, or are they getting them after several others have only one number to go? I think this would be the best indicator of shenanigans. The Wizard has a table of the odds of catching various bingos within a certain number of calls here.
